ArthaLand, a world-class Filipino boutique developer, has won the prestigious International Arch of Europe Award 2012 recently from the Business Initiative Directions (BID). BID is a Madrid-based premier quality award-giving body that evaluates companies across the globe. ArthaLand earned the “Arch of Europe for Quality and Technology in Gold Category” in a ceremony held in Frankfurt, Germany with no less than the company’s president and CEO, Angie

de Villa-Lacson, receiving the award from Jose Prieto, BID founder and president.

For companies to be nominated for the award, they must have a proven commitment to quality and show continuous quest for excellence towards customer satisfaction. Candidate companies must also be represented and backed by a member of the BID International Selection Committee. ArthaLand was chosen as a winner after a careful study of all the nominated firms. The voting process was participated in by business leaders who meet annually in New York, Paris, Frankfurt, Geneva, and London.

Among the bases used for the selection of winners were customer satisfaction, innovation, research and development, continuing education, post-sales service, TQM implementation, ISO 9000, environment, recycling,

business excellence, quality, profitability, permanent

growth, brand, marketing, leadership and management.
