Food for Hungry Minds kids cool down with Häagen-dazs

Super premium ice cream brand Häagen-Dazs recently held a special event for the children of Food for Hungry Minds Inc. preparing a memorable day filled with fun, exciting games, and indulgent Häagen-Dazs ice cream.

Candice de Ausen-Jungao, principal of Food for Hungry Minds, and Häagen- Dazs Marketing & Distribution Philippines director Peter Choy welcomed the kids and other participants during their brief speeches. After the games and activities, the Food for Hungry Minds kids, teachers, and staff were excited to finally dig into Häagen-Dazs Caramel Biscuit and Cream ice cream, which was served for everyone to try.

“Activities with HäagenDazs are some of the things the kids look forward the most,” said teacher Candice. “We have built a strong partnership with the brand, and are thankful for the support it has been provid- ing.” The activity is an extension of the partnership’s annual Christmas initiative, which encourages the involvement of consumers through HäagenDazs’ Christmas creations.

Häagen-Dazs’ first collaboration with Food for Hungry Minds was in 2008-2009, and according to Choy, “As a company that embraces responsibility and desires to contribute positively in any way it can… making a difference in the communities we operate in.
