DOH convenes policy forum to respond to universal health care challenges

-

The recently held 4th Joint Human Resources for Health Network (HRHN)-Philippine Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Policy Forum, themed “Responding to the Challenges of Universal Health Care and Human Resources for Health-Related Philippine International Commitments,” reaped accolades for providing a platform for discussions on the challenges for Filipino human resources for health at national and regional levels.

HRHN is a multi-sectoral organization, convened by DOH, to support human resources management and development for health practitioners in the Philippines.

This event of national significance requires the expertise of a competent and experienced partner. Hence, the Department of Health (DOH) teamed up with First Pacific Leadership Academy (FPLA), formerly known as the Meralco Development Center (MMLDC).

The forum’s success hinges not only on the wealth of ideas presented and its national significance, but also with the capability of its partners to proactively (HHRDB) and its stakeholders, handle correspondences with target participants, and formulate a comprehensive documentation plan.

And who better to take on such an immense task other than the Academy’s project team. With its advocacy of leading in the expansion of technical expertise and with its affinity to the human resources profession, FPLA proactively offers its services in the form of managing such affairs to DOH and its HRH partners.

Since 1999, the Academy has provided efficient event organization banking on its established processes, systems, and competent personnel to handle event servicing, supplier sourcing, client contracting, evaluation and assessment and documentation requirements. FPLA boasts of a team of learning events managers, specialists equipped with the industry’s best practices in project planning and event management.
