Isuzu’s nationwide mall tour sets out to beat the summer heat

Summer is here. While heading to the beach or the cool highlands are excellent ways to chill out, many Filipinos have a more immediate and convenient method of beating the season’s heat—spending time in various malls.

With this in mind, Isuzu Philippines Corporation ( IPC) has set out on its 2013 Isuzu Nationwide Mall Tour, which started last March 4 and will run until May 29. In this series of events, IPC is bringing its range of family-friendly vehicles to popular shopping malls across the country so that more Filipinos may check out the latest Isuzu offerings.

“The mall tour makes Isuzu vehicles more accessible to Filipino consumers,” said IPC president Ryoji Yamazaki. “This series of activities should allow the motoring public to experience our best-selling models like the Isuzu Crosswind AUV, D-MAX pickup, Alterra SUV and others, and let them realize what makes Isuzu vehicles popular among families of Overseas Filipino Workers, people engaged in small to midsize businesses, and even to those who use our models for personal and recreational pursuits.”

Kick-starting Isuzu’s mall tour were displays held at SM City Dasmarinas last March 4 to 10, Limketkai Mall (Cagayan de Oro) last March 6 to 12, SM City Southmall last March 13 to 19, Robinson’s Place Bacolod last March 18 to 24, Robinson’s Place Manila last April 3 to 9; SM City General Santos last April 4 to 10; SM City Marikina last April 11 to 17; BrickStone Mall (Tuguegarao City) last April 13 to 19; and SM City Pampanga last April 17 to 23.

Scheduled next are events at SM City Lipa on April 23 to 29; SM Mall of Asia on April 25 to May 1; SM City Fairview on April 26 to May 2; Robinson’s Place Iloilo on May 2 to 4; SM City Fairview on May 4 to 10; Waltermart Gapan on May 6 to 12; SM City Sta. Rosa on May 8 to 14; SM City Marilao on May 14 to 20; SM City Lanang (Davao) on May 14 to 20; SM City Baguio on May 17 to 23; SM City Cebu on May 22 to 28; and SM City North EDSA on May 23 to 29.
