Rihanna in Manila Sept. 19

is the most followed (over 70 million fans on Facebook) and most listened to (12 No. 1 records). She is currently in Europe for her Diamonds World Tour, and in between her touring schedule, she posted a photo of her hard at work in the studio with rapper Wale “cooking up a lil treat” for fans.

The We Found Love singer is finding time amidst her busy schedule to work on her eighth studio album. Riri’s 777 Documentary featuring seven countries in seven days with seven shows was also just released in May with her

Diamonds World Tour ongoing.

Aside from her music, she also found time to flex her fashion muscles, launching a clothing line for River Island, a UK-based highstreet fashion brand, designing stiletto sandals, ankle boots, camisole tops, shorts, trousers, maxi dresses, jackets, swimwear and a trucker hat with a pendant of Rihanna’s tattoo. The top-selling digital artist of all time inked a deal with the Style Network to executive produce Styled To Rock, a competition series searching for 12 cutting-edge fashion designers who will compete with the guidance of industry mentors like Pharrell Williams of N.E.R.D and model-designer Erin Wasson. According to Rihanna, “fashion has always played an integral part” of her life and career — this certainly comes to light, especially in her shows.

Rihanna has her foot dipped in the film industry with an appearance in the Seth Rogen film called This is

the End, also starring James Franco, Emma Watson, Michael Cera and more.

Pop singer Rita Ora wants to emulate Riri’s work ethic saying, “She works her ass off. She hasn’t had a break and she has given people hit after hit after hit. That work discipline is hardcore.”

Rihanna’s success is not only attributed to her talent but to her hard work yet she keeps it exciting by playing hard. “Smart work pays off. #WorkHardBallHard” says Rihanna in her

Instagram account @BadGalRiri.

Rihanna’s Unapologetic is certified three times platinum in the US, selling one million copies in the US and over three million copies worldwide. Her latest single

Pour It Up has already reached platinum in the US, selling one million copies. No doubt Rihanna is a talented and hardworking artist, making a stop in Manila to perform for her Filipino fans at the Mall of Asia Arena on

Sept. 19.
