While many company executives and high-level employees earn a significant amount of salary, they still seek a more financially secured future. Among the practical ways to ensure their financial stability is by entrepreneurial ventures.

The Asian Institute of Management (AIM) has launched the Executive MBA for Entrepreneurship Program, which will teach students the principles of entrepreneurial thought and action, which may be applied to new ventures, growing companies, family businesses, and large corporations.

The program is intended for entrepreneurs of small and medium enterprises, as well as social entrepreneurs, those who are not donor-dependent, and intrapreneurs, those who serve as strategic business unit heads at corporations.

The Executive MBA for Entrepreneurship program is a 15-month program that aims to develop students’ entrepreneurship and professional management skills, including the skills necessary to grow a business, such as opportunity scanning and screening,

market expansion, product expansion, and financing growth.

The program’s curriculum includes topics in Finance, Innovation and R&D, Marketing, Operations, Information and Communication Technology, Organizational Leadership, Human Resource Management, and Strategy.

Students will learn from and be trained by qualified and experienced faculty and AIM’s roster of successful entrepreneur alumni. They will also work closely with the executive-in-residence and entrepreneur coaches to ensure that the programs meet each student’s unique goals.

The program will be a mix of classroom sessions, hands-on and interactive sessions, as well as business simulations, seminars, visits to companies, immersions abroad, and other off-campus activities.

“AIM provides a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs to explore a world of opportunities and new pathways to success,” says Prof. Gracia S. Ugut, PhD, Dean of the Executive Education and Lifelong Learning Center of AIM. “Entrepreneurs are the engines of growth, and the world needs entrepreneurial solutions and leaders who can create significant economic and social value throughout the Asean region and elsewhere.”
