Lovi cuts hair for transformation in Akin Pa Rin Ang Bukas

-

Kapuso’s Lovi Poe (photo) is very excited with her big transformation in Akin Pa Rin Ang Bukas as her character is ready to reclaim what’s rightfully hers after being deceived by the people close to her.

Lovi has to cut her hair short for her character’s makeover (as Lovelia) in the episodes this week, “Almost all my life long hair talaga ako. Actually, hindi ko pa nababasa kung paano yung magiging story after that pero nakita ko na kung paano ko sila haharapin, so excited na ako. Then magta- transform ako, it’s like a totally different thing. Magiging

matapang na ako.”

Lovi takes her craft as an actress seriously and she didn’t think twice when the production team convinced her to chop off her long locks. “It’s shorter than the usual. Ang tagal na

nito, I’m so scared, but kailangan for the show. Ang gusto ko na hingin na eksena, kung puwede yung ako mismo ang gumugupit. I want that para mas dramatic,

para mas ma- feel ko siya.” More viewers are now hooked on the series and the program is expected to set even higher ratings on the coming days, especially when Lovelia decides to reveal herself during the baptism of Agatha’s ( Charee Pineda) baby. Everyone is shocked to see Lovelia alive. Beatrice ( Liza Lorena) is ecstatic that her granddaughter is finally back but Agatha is very upset that Lovelia will divulge her secret affair with Jerry ( Rocco Nacino).

But Lovelia hatches a plan and pretends to have selective memory loss. Will Lovelia succeed in her quest for vengeance against Agatha and Jerry?

Meanwhile, Lovi added another feather in her cap after she received an award from the Federation of Associations of Private Schools and Administrators ( FAPSA) Philippines for Excellence in Television Art for her performance in the GMA News TV original series, Titser, last Nov. 25 at the Manila Ocean Park.

Akin Pa Rin Ang Bukas airs weeknights after Genesis on GMA Telebabad.
