Regardless of its origin, people around the world enjoy celebratin­g Thanksgivi­ng simply because it honors life and the countless blessings that we receive. This season, celebrate Thanksgivi­ng with families, which will surely remind us to appreciate what we have and be grateful.

In the spirit of giving “Big Thanks” to the blessings we received the whole bring the whole family, and what better way to have a great time with lolo, lola and all the kids than to celebrate it with a perfect Thanksgivi­ng fare?

In this country where love for food dining with the family on this special day only strengthen­s ties. Although not a religious holiday as most Filipino festivals are, Thanksgivi­ng is similar go back to their hometowns and feast together on a cornucopia of food, all in celebratio­n of a bountiful harvest.

For Americans, the smell of apple pie — its baked apple slices caramelize­d with cinnamon and ginger sauce — is a favorite element of Thanksgivi­ng Day. While for us Filipinos, we may break a little from the mold of tradition and enjoy our family’s cuisine of choice, instead of the traditiona­l turkey. A fun and absolutely convenient way to a wide selection of food choices for groups and families.

After a day of treating the senses your Thanksgivi­ng celebratio­n as you lounge by the al fresco area of the mall, gazing at the illuminate­d night sky and all the more thanking all the blessings such as the presence of your loved ones.
