A pregnant woman was allegedly beaten up by a 19-yearold girl and her sister inside a passenger jeepney in Malabon City on uesday night.

Police identified the suspects as siblings Raycel, 19, and Cherry Ann de la Cru , 17.

Police said Marilou autista, 35, and her daughter were riding a jeepney along Macopa street in arangay Potrero when the former politely asked the teenagers to move over so that she and her child could sit properly.

nstead of moving, the sisters cursed autista and allegedly told her that the baby in her womb will die. autista said she did not argue with the suspects because of her condition.

hen the jeepney reached Maysilo, she said the suspects pulled her hair and kicked her tummy.

At this point, the male passengers grabbed the teenagers and brought them to a barangay hall. he siblings said they did not know that autista is pregnant. Raycel was taken to the police station. She will be charged with physical injuries. Cherry Ann, on the other hand, was turned over to the social welfare office. –
