A 43-year-old man died after being hit by a Philippine National Railways (PNR) train in Sta. Cru , Manila yesterday morning.

Max Padon, a constructi­on worker, was rushed to the Ospital ng ondo where one of his legs was amputated.

Padon died later due to loss of blood, the Manila Police District Station 7 said. e also sustained injuries to his head and other leg. Police said the victim was walking on the PNR tracks along Jose Abad Santos Avenue at around 7 a.m. on his way

to utuban when he was hit by the train. –
