Telecom bazaar & crafts fair in one

The widest assortment of cellphone units and gadgets in the country and the biggest collection of Philippine arts and crafts will be unveiled when the 21st Telecommun­ication and Accessorie­s Bazaar and the 9th Philippine Crafts Fair opens today at the Greenhills Shopping Center in San Juan City.

The fair boasts of 1,400 participan­ts, mostly importers, manufactur­ers, mall suppliers, traders, wholesaler­s and retailers who are seasoned businessme­n imbued with spirit of giving value for their customer’s money by providing quality products and services at affordable rates.

The Telecommun­ication Bazaar, aside from selling the latest cellphone units, also has assorted gadgets and accessorie­s, thus saving the customers the trouble and hassle of going to different places just to canvass or look for these items. At the bazaar, there are stalls that offer cellphone repair and troublesho­oting services. On the other hand, the Philip- pine Crafts Fair will showcase both the traditiona­l and contempora­ry furniture, furnishing­s, RTWs, bags and luggage, novelty items, collectibl­es and corporate giveaways, footwear, jewelry, ornamental­s, and food items.

For the 26-day duration of the event, which is organized by Prime Asia Trade Planners and Convention Organizers headed by Henry Babiera, the shopping center ‘s upscale image will be shed for the meantime and will have a “masa” image makeover as it adopts a Divisoria-style bargain hunters haven for shoppers from all walks of life who want value for their money.

Meanwhile, after their tiring shopping spree at the fair, shoppers can have their relaxation by visiting Las Farolas, the country’s state-of-the-art museum of river monsters on Frontera Drive beside Tiendesita­s, Ortigas Ave., Pasig City which has over a collection of 3,000 freshwater fish varieties from around the globe.
