n line with the opening of the school year, GMA Kapuso oundation, the sociocivic arm of GMA etwork, made the rounds in different parts of the country to distribute backpacks complete with school supplies via its long- standing Unang Hakbang Sa Kinabukasa­n project.

Compared to last year, the project even increased its number of beneficiar­ies from ,000 to ,000 grade one students this 01 . istributio­n to 1, schools nationwide took place all throughout May until the first week of June.
