Cellist Vi c - tor Michael Coo and pianist 5udolf Golez take on Beethoven’s witty D F W variation, Schumann ’s heart-wrenching D G G D , 5achmaninoff’s fiendi s h l y - d i f f i c u l t cello sonata and virtuosic Chopin’s 3 D D W to name a few.
Known for his “sonorously rich tone, his impeccable musicianship and superb technique,” Vict o r Coo never ceases to mesmerize his audiences around the world with his artistry. A graduate of the 3hilippine igh School for the Arts, he won the 1AMC A at age . At , Coo was featured as a soloist with the World outh 2rchestra. e continued his studies at /ynn 8niversity in ) lorida and at Michigan State 8niversity. As the principal cellist of the 1ew England outh Ensemble, he toured internationally and has performed in some important concert stages including the Kennedy Center for 3erforming Arts and Carnegie all.
3ianist 5udolf Golez entered - uilliard School of Music at a very young age of 3 under the famed pedagogue Seymour / ipkin and later on in Graz, Austria. In , he was the sole prizewinner of the ) irst ASEA1 Chopin International 3iano Competition. e has represented the 3hilippines as one of its goodwill ambassadors to China, 5ussia and Australia. e is currently the dean of the College of Music of / iceo de Cagayan and serves as faculty at 3hilippine Women’s 8niversity.
