Libiran, Laforteza top ABC monthly tourney

Boyet Libiran of Steeltech scored a 1185 to top Group 1 while Lou Laforteza of Emerald Pipes bagged the Group 2 plum with a 1060 in the Architects Bowling Club’s monthly championship at E Lanes in Ortigas Ave., San Juan City.

Joan Mendoza of Boysen Paints turned in a 1146 while Ronnie Javier of Glass Asia rolled a 1141 to place second and third, respectively, in Group 1 while Ricky Martinez of Coach Furnitures made a 1042 and May Sabater of Novelle Furnitures had a 1034 to finish second and third, respectively, in Group 2 of the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

ABC president Denis Jalandoon is inviting all ABC members to attend the group’s Christmas party, induction rites of the 2015 board of directors and awards ceremonies on Dec. 9 at the Teatro Aguinaldo in Camp Aguinaldo, Santolan, Quezon City.

The tournament, backed by Boysen Philippines, Boysen Acrytex/ Knoxout/Healthy Homes/ Wallguard, American Wires, Philflex, Crown Pipes, Glass Asia, Duraflex TW/THHN Wires, Philflex Cables, Emerald Pipes, Concrete Ventures, Consnet Builders, Morning Sun, WeKonstruct, Miraga Trading, Coach Furnitures, Moldex Pipes, Steeltech, Goldbridge Neighborhood Dental, E.S.Vidal Builders, PNS Advanced Steel Tech, Romari Constructions, DN Steel and Matson Builders, resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of the quarterly championships, also at E Lanes.
