-

Philippine Savings Bank (PSBank), the thrift bank arm of the Metrobank Group, opened 15 new branches from June to early November this year as part of its network expansion efforts to provide clients better access to its products and services. This brings the bank’s total branch network to 239.

This includes the bank’s first ever branches in four thriving provinces in the country: Oriental Mindoro, Nueva Vizcaya and Camarines Norte in Luzon; and Antique in Visayas.

“As the trade and tourism activities of these areas become more progressive, we would like to make our products and services more conveniently accessible to the local market. We hope that through our simple, reliable banking service, more Filipinos will be financially equipped and empowered. We will also continue to put up more branches in new locations to serve more clients,” PSBank Branch Banking Group head and first vice president Francis Llanera said.

In particular, the new branches are located in Calapan, Oriental Mindoro; Solano, Nueva Vizcaya; Daet, Camarines Norte; and San Jose, Antique. In addition, branches were opened in Guagua, Pampanga; Rosario, Cavite; Plaridel, Bulacan; Sto. Tomas, Batangas; La Trinidad, Benguet; Gapan, Nueva Ecija; Iba, Zambales; Calamba Crossing, Laguna; Balayan, Batangas; Tanay, Rizal; and Carmona, Cavite.

This is supported by the Bank’s extensive network of 585 branch and offsite ATMs in strategic locations nationwide.

This includes malls, supermarkets, town centers, hospitals, schools, commercial and residential areas, and transport hubs.

PSBank, a member of the Metrobank Group, is a key player in the consumer banking industry. PSBank has expanded its network coverage to over 200 branches and over 500 ATMs nationwide, and strives to consistently make banking simple, fast and convenient for its customers.
