Get into the swim of summer
Summer is here and that means more time for the family to bond, get out of town and hit the beach!
Of course, you will need the best swimwear available and that is why Speedo always has its fashion show in February, right before the scorching heat hits the country. Speedo recently launched its spring/ summer collection that focused on graphics, prints, and bold colors at the Glorietta Activity Center.
Fitness buffs can take delight in the improved technique- enhancing swimwear included in the Swim Fitness collection. Both the Pinnacle Kickback and Pinnacle V Jammer have been updated to include more compression panels, making the suits feel tighter. The panels help swimmers engage the core muscles, thus minimizing drag and energy for a more efficient swim, and make maintaining a horizontal streamlined position in the water easier.
Speedo’s Play & Fun collection provides the entire family great options, especially the ladies, with its flattering and feminine styles in bright colors that come in one-piece, bikini, and tankini.
Both the adult and junior styles now use an improved comfor t thre ad and a re made using Speedo’s exclusive Endurance+ and Endurance10 fabrics which feature increased chlorine resistance, superior softness, and a longer- lasting fit. I always look forward to watching our champion swimmers model — this year, Jessie Lacuna and Ariana Herranz were seen on stage donning the latest addition to Speedo’s Fastskin range, the Speedo Fastskin LZR Racer X. Speedo Swim fitness ambassador Akiko Thomson Guevara, husband Chips Guevara and their two kids, Elijah and Noah, shared the runway as a family as they ended the show with a bang. Spotted in the crowd were Speedo International’s regional business development manager Harry Thind, Bert Lozada Swim School chief executive officer Anthony Lozada, coach Guy Concepcion, Bangladesh Ambassador to the Philippines Major General John Gomes, and Indian Ambassador to the Philippines L.D. Ralte.
