Medical Dilemma going strong as it enters Season 2

-

Whenever a health issue arises, Filipinos tend to make it a family or even a social matter, often taking into consideration views other than their doctor’s. There are ethical and legal aspects that are examined before a patient arrives at a course of action. Other times, health matters are kept secret until a dilemma arises: Should you or should you not?

“Medical Dilemma” is hosted by doctor-lawyer Teresita Sanchez, lawyer Sara Jane Suguitan, Fr. Jerry Manlangit, OP, and Sonny Del Rosario Jr.

It airs every Sunday at 6 p.m. with replays on Mondays 11 a.m. Wednesdays 9 p.m., Thursdays, 10 a.m. at Skycable Ch. 213, Destiny Ch. 8, GSat Ch. 1 and facebook Medical Dilemma.

Topics are varied, interesting and can certainly feature a dilemma. These range from the very serious as whether to pull out the plug in a terminally ill patient or as simple as whether to pluck out a toe nail with fungal infection.
