Bullish economy spurs growth of corporate giveaways sector

-

The local business gifts and rewards sector continued to exhibit bullishness this year as hundreds of its major players took part in the 28th Corporate Giveaways Buyers’ Show held recently at the SMX Convention Center at the Mall of Asia Complex of Pasay City.

According to Raquel Romero, president and general manager of World Expos & Concepts, organizers of Corporate Giveaways, the turnout this year saw participants occupying nearly 150 booths with several past exhibitors even opting for larger exhibition spaces.

These developments, she said, coupled with the number of attendees this year, indicated the continuously blossoming mood of the sector.

“We noticed many exhibitors increased the amount of exhibit space they take at the show -some even doubled the size of their spaces,” Romero said. “This means they need more space to cater to inquiries and showcase their products. That indicates that they did well in the previous year and are anticipating good business again this year she said.”

As it was in previous years, the Corporate Giveaways Buyers’ Show—touted as the longest-running and most successful show of its kind in the Philippines—featured products and services catering to various gifting needs. Among the exhibitors that took part in the show this year was first-time participant Brand Connect, whose space was among the most popular because of its unique and colourful range of products.

On the other end of the spectrum, long- time exhibitors Focus Global, the distributors of Coleman products in the Philippines, and Parker, a known producer of personally designed writing instruments, both marked their 24th year of participation at the show.
