Fund managers recognize Globe
The Fund Managers Association of the Philippines (FMAP) has recognized Globe Telecom Inc. as the company of the year at the annual FMAP Awards Night.
FMAP is composed of 47 institutional asset and fund managers, led by its president Josefina T. Tuplano (also executive vice president of Metrobank) and vice president Smith L. Chua (also BPI senior vice president).
The other winners are: (fixed income category) Jose Mario Cuyegkeng (ING), best fixed income economist and also best fixed income strategist; Aezel Ann Zamora (ING), best global fixed income trader; ING Bank, best foreign market coverage; Juan Carlos Munoz (Metrobank), best local fixed income trader; Carlyn Therese Dulay (Security Bank), best fixed income sales.
In the equities category: Luz Lorenzo (Maybank ATRKE), best economist and best strategist; Manuel Luis Legarda (Deutsche Regis), best sales trading; Juanis Barredo (COL Financial), best technical analyst; Rafael Garchitorena (Deutsche Regis), best banking analyst; Gio dela Rosa (Deutsche Regis), best telco analyst;
