Mossimo Music Summit 2015 on its semi- finals phase

The Mossimo Music Summit 2015, an annual talent search for the country’s next biggest singing sensation, is embarking on its semi-final rounds of the competitio­n.

The semi-finals will be held on Aug. 1, 4 p.m. at the SM Megamall Event Center and Aug. 8, 4 p.m. at the Glori - etta Activity Center. The grand finals will take place on Aug. 21, 4 p.m. at the Trinoma Activity Center.

The music summit boasts of a panel of judges consisting of the country’s most respected names from various fields of expertise in the entertainm­ent industry. Award-winning songwriter and record producer Jungee Marcelo will give a technical viewpoint for evaluating the contestant­s, while Callalily’s Kean Cipriano will give the side of the artists a voice during the competitio­n. MYX channel head Andre Alvarez will be representi­ng the media, while record executive Vic Valenciano of Curve Entertainm­ent will bring in his mettle on talent management.

The contest’s grand prize totals P500,000 in cash and prizes, with P200,000 in cash and one-year clothing allowance from Mossimo worth P300,000. The grand winner will also become one of Mossimo’s brand ambassador­s. The winner will also snag an exclusive recording and talent management contract with Curve Entertainm­ent, Inc. All finalists will receive P25,000 in cash and Mossimo gift certificat­es worth P25,000.

The Mossimo Music Summit 2015 gives aspiring musicians an opportunit­y to realize their dreams of becoming one of the country’s singing sensation.
