It’s a marry scene at Marriott

Raising the standard in weddings, Marriott Manila recently unveiled the biggest ballroom in the Philippines, the Marriot Ballroom, with a signature bridal show, “Marry Me at Marriott,” featuring the bridal creations of six top-notch Filipino designers.

Two thousand guests consisting of influential fashion designers, renowned celebrities, soon-to-wed couples, industry partners, and wedding suppliers gathered together for a show never before seen in the wedding fashion scene.

Models graced the 300- foot runway with astounding bridal collections. Frederick Peralta certainly tickled everyone’s fantasy with his whimsical creations. Rajo Laurel’s timeless royalty exuded bridal elegance. A perfect balance of modern and romantic can only be pulled off by Rhett Eala. Classics with a twist was the statement made by JC Buendia. Randy Ortiz delivered sophistication in every detail. Exquisite couture pieces came from Jun Escario. Each designer brought their muse to breathe life to their creation: Alex Gonzaga, Jessica Kienle, Rima Ostwani, Angel Jacob, Rissa Trillo, Tiffany Janson, and Catriona Gray.

General manager Bruce Winton said: “This show is just the first of the many creative events that can happen here and creativity is the only thing that stops them on how to maximize 8,000 sq.m. of space.”

The Marriott Grand Ballroom offers 8,000-sq.m. lavish space to accommodate 2,500 guests. Imagine a place specially designed for weddings that showcases opulent space, incomparable state-of-theart technology, a glamorous photo venue, elegant bridal suites with private gardens, and versatile ceremonial halls.
