InvestHK seminar offers prospects in Hong Kong

InvestHK, the Hong Kong Special Administra­tive Region (HKSAR) government department responsibl­e for foreign direct investment, announces the opportunit­y for Philippine companies to invest in Hong Kong, consistent­ly rated as one of the word’s best business cities.

A free but invitation­al business seminar and networking luncheon “Hong Kong: Where Business Goes To Grow” will be held on Sept. 24 at the Manila Peninsula to orient interested parties on investment opportunit­ies in Hong Kong. Topics include: Business Opportunit­ies in HK and China; Hong Kong as Gateway to China; and Helping SMEs Expand Global Trade through HKTDC’s Integrated Marketplac­e.

Since its establishm­ent in July 2000, InvestHK (Invest Hong Kong) has assisted over 3,700 investor companies, creating 40,200 jobs and generating over HK$99 billion (P592.4 billion) in investment.

InvestHK is mandated to help investors to succeed and minimize risk by providing assistance throughout the various stages (planning, set-up, launch and expansion) of the business developmen­t of investor clients the government agency assists on a long-term basis.
