The Ascott Limited (Ascott), the world’s largest internatio­nal serviced residence owner- operator, marked a milestone event as it announced its foray into the Visayas with Citadines Cebu City.

The internatio­nal-class serviced residence is the Ascott’s eighth property in the Philippine­s, reinforcin­g its lead as the largest internatio­nal serviced residence owner- operator in the country. Owned by Cebu Landmaster­s, the property is set to open in 2019.

The company currently operates three award-winning brands: Ascott, Citadines and Somerset, each catering to different travelers’ needs. Ascott offers luxurious living homes with excellent services for business travelers while Citadines is an ideal vibrant home in the city with flexible services for individual­s on the go. Somerset is known for its stylish apartments for executives and their families.

Upon its completion in 2019, the contempora­ry serviced residence will be part of a mixed-use developmen­t that will also comprise offices, retail and private residentia­l units — the ideal second home for discerning internatio­nal businessme­n and leisure travelers.

The 180-apartment developmen­t will feature a range of studio and one-bedroom apartments, as well as exclusive lofts, complete with all the modern convenienc­es of home. There will also be meeting and function rooms for business travelers. And for work-life balance, the property will feature a recreation­al floor complete with a swimming pool and fitness center. There will likewise be commercial spaces on the ground floor, including a supermarke­t, dining and retail outlets.
