CHRISTMAS BAZAARS and fairs are coming to town!

W hen it comes to Filipinos celebratin­g the Christmas season, “Filipino Time” doesn’t apply. As early as the “-ber” months, bright Christmas lights fill the streets, Christmas carols are played and seasonal bazaars and fairs are put up all over town. Food festivals, open markets, and art fairs are just few of the many activities one can enjoy with friends and family this season.

Here are some of the bazaars and fairs with great finds, gift ideas and fun activities for everyone. Better beat the Christmas rush and wrap those gifts early!

MANILA SUNDANCE BAZAAR

When: November 13-15, 2015, 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. Where: Metrotent Convention Ortigas Center

Dishes from some of the popular food districts in the metro — Maginhawa Street, Lilac, Aguirre and Kapitolyo — will be in one food fair for a flavor-filled weekend. Better bring along your BFF because there will be live music and open mic nights, film showing, and a variety of shopping options to complete a fantastic festival experience.

SATURDAY X FUTURE MARKET

When: November 14, 2015, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Where: 98B Escolta, Manila

The monthly mini- bazaar in Escolta carries handcrafte­d products by young and artistic entreprene­urs. Being a venue for budding artists, it is home to witty designs, creative merchandis­e, and interestin­g artwork that are perfect if you’re going for a unique Christmas gift.

Best Gifts Christmas Bazaar

When: November 17-20, 2015, 10 a.m.-11 p.m. Venue: Venice Piazza, Mckinley Hill Fort Bonifacio

Bright Lights Christmas Bazaar

November 28-29, 2015, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Venue: UP Diliman, Quezon City
