READY, SET, BACKPACK this holiday season

Just recently, Osprey—a leading American brand for packs and bags—came up with a creative outdoor experience through the Osprey Out and About – Bataan, the first leg of many Osprey Adventures to be held in the Philippines.
This initiative seeks to inspire individuals to go further in their pursuit of adventure by enabling them to explore more and try new experiences with Osprey. With the help of the friendly and welcoming folks of the Bataan Tourism Center, Team Osprey and their invited guests were able to enjoy various activities all over Bataan. From nature tripping to cultural immersions, short hikes to breathtaking sights, giving back to the environment to trying local delicacies, Osprey Out and About is all about adventure backpacking.
The first stop of Osprey Out and About was the Balanga Wetland Park where attendees enjoyed a bird-watching session amid the sights and sounds of nature. After which, guests proceeded to check in at the Plaza Hotel Balanga before heading over to the beautiful heritage-themed resort, Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Bagac for a quick heritage tour.
To cap off the day, everyone went to watch the sunset at the Mt. Samat National Shrine.
Day Two called for a unique tour around the Bataan Nuclear Power Plant in Morong before proceeding to visit some wildlife friends over at the Pawikan Conservation Center. Morong used to be a refugee processing center for Vietnamese and other Indo-Chinese people. As such, attendees were treated to a lunch at a popular Vietnamese restaurant in Morong prior to heading back to Manila – Loleng Hu-TieuAn, ensuring a heritage and adventure-filled experience through and through.
