The yearly series of holiday festivities showcase Vista City’s real estate and retail components in their respective display of dazzling Christmas decorations visible along the stretch of Daang Hari. The Italian-inspired community of Portofino unveiled their Christmas Garden, while Ponticelli lit up a Giant Snow Globe. This year, Camella Cerritos showed off the best of the Filipino Christmas with a Grand Parol Lights Display.

The highlight of the weekend’s festivities was Vista City’s much-awaited, annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. Throngs of shoppers and mall goers gathered at the Evia Lifestyle Center to witness the ceremony led by Vista Land president and CEO Paolo Villar, Vista Land managing director Camille Villar, and other Villar Group executives.

The program opened with a dazzling Christmas ballet performance by the Acts Manila Ballet Company, followed by a charming performance by renowned crooner Richard Poon. As the tree lighting commenced, a grand fireworks display lit up the skies of Vista City to the awe of the spectators. The celebration continued with Christmas carols by the Lyceum of the Philippines University ( LPU) Harmonic Chorale and commenced with a Christmas concert by the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) Quartet at the Evia Piazza.

The Tree Lighting Ceremony is just the beginning of a Yuletide-wide festive mood at Vista City. As the holidays become even more hectic, shoppers and community members get to beat the rush with live Christmas music serenading them as they shop at Evia’s assortment of holiday bazaars every weekend. For the kids and kids-at-heart, experience a fun meetand-greet with the jolly Old Saint Nick throughout November and December. Check out the Vista City website and Facebook page for the schedule.

Escape the Christmas rush of the Central Metro and light up your holidays like never before by visiting Vista City. It takes only 30 minutes to reach it from Makati via the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) and Muntinlupa-Cavite Expressway (MCX), making the Metro South a convenient and exciting place to be this Christmas season.
