Liberty Medical to open GIC in Phl

US- based Liberty Medical is formally opening its first Global In- house Center (GIC) in the Philippine­s on Dec. 6.

Located at the 6th floor of the Estancia Mall, Capitol Commons in Pasig City, expected to grace the event are key officials from the government and industry associatio­n.

In anticipati­on of its grand launching event, the company has hired more than 300 top-notch Filipino talents and currently undergoing training for its order entry and diabetes testing supplies line of business.

A Filipino-American, Edwin Matulin, who is based in the Liberty Medical’s Florida headquarte­rs will be leading the GIC in the Philippine­s as its country head. He is currently the headquarte­rs director for global strategic relationsh­ips where he manages various transforma­tion initiative­s focused on commercial, medicare, and other diabetes solutions as well as takes the lead in the company’s global offshore programs.

Liberty Medical Philippine­s serves as the end-to-end patient life-cycle process, that is from creating orders and gathering healthcare provider’s informatio­n from the patient to obtaining valid doctor’s orders and facilitati­ng submission of insurance claims for reimbursem­ent and up to end-to-end patient sales and service process.

Liberty Medical is a strong growthfocu­sed company servicing over 200,000 patients in the US and has the largest and most comprehens­ive services and products principall­y for diabetes, such as, urinary catheters, ostomy supplies, insulin pumps and pump supplies.
