Liberty Medical to open GIC in Phl
US- based Liberty Medical is formally opening its first Global In- house Center (GIC) in the Philippines on Dec. 6.
Located at the 6th floor of the Estancia Mall, Capitol Commons in Pasig City, expected to grace the event are key officials from the government and industry association.
In anticipation of its grand launching event, the company has hired more than 300 top-notch Filipino talents and currently undergoing training for its order entry and diabetes testing supplies line of business.
A Filipino-American, Edwin Matulin, who is based in the Liberty Medical’s Florida headquarters will be leading the GIC in the Philippines as its country head. He is currently the headquarters director for global strategic relationships where he manages various transformation initiatives focused on commercial, medicare, and other diabetes solutions as well as takes the lead in the company’s global offshore programs.
