Play and give at SOS Children’s Villages Backyard Games

-

To celebrate National Children’s Month in the country and promote children’s rights in time for Universal Children’s Day, SOS Children’s Villages Philippines invites the public to join Backyard Games 2015 on Nov. 21-22, in Solenad 3, Nuvali, at Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

Backyard Games 2015 allows families to spend quality time together and strengthen the family bond, and at the same time provides an opportunity to support the mission of SOS Children’s Villages in giving children at risk the happy childhood that they deserve. Participants can play in several game booths that will be set up throughout the venue, and join arts and crafts and face- painting activities. Each participant also gets the chance to win raffle prizes instantly at the end of the event.

SOS Children’s Villages Philippines is a non- profit organization that aims to provide every child a caring family environment. It is present in 133 countries across the globe that works to prevent family breakdown and give care to children who have lost the care of their parents or are at risk of losing it. They put families at the heart of their mission, believing that the family is the best environment for a happy childhood. They carry out their work while ensuring that the children’s rights are respected and fulfilled to ensure that they grow up to be productive members of society.

“Today’s children are the future leaders of society, and we believe that the love and protection of families are crucial to fulfill their potentials,” shares Bienvenido Delgado, national director of SOS Children’s Villages Philippines. “We believe that together, we can work to give children in need the chance to belong to a loving and caring family who will support their development.”

Everyone can come and join the various backyard games organized to make this family day fun-filled for the children. Also, interested concessionaires can sell their goods during the two- day event by paying a rental space of P10,000.
