Garcia tops Flat Out race series in Clark

-

Niño Garcia produced the day’s best time to capture the top plum recently in the eighth and final leg of the 2015 Flat Out Race Series at the Clark International Speedway.

Garcia clocked 2:06.902 aboard his JCT GTR35 to beat Dominic Bon’s 4-door Honda Civic EK and Rafael La’O and clinch the Bracket A crown by a clear seven seconds.

In Grid B Sydney Blanche Sarmiento won the title, aided from behind by Garcia who fended off a hard-charging Bon.

However, Garcia wasn’t able to defend for long due to some mechanical issues that forced him back to the pits. But his effort provided enough distance for Sarmiento’s triumph. Regular Gentleman racer Jun Cabrera finished third.

In Grid C, after all the penalties have been factored in, Lesly Tuason emerged victorious, beating Marion Mendoza in his Toyota 101.

The Grid D class saw the top nine out of 17 drivers break out of their respective bracket times, handing outright victory to W-Autosports-Staging Lanes driver Mickey Suiza.

The 2015 Flat Out Race Series is sponsored by GT Radial – Philippines, PTT Phil.
