White Event celebrity auction brings hope to Malabon students
International child-focused organization, World Vision, in tie up with Zonrox GentleClean, launched the White Event, an online celebrity auction for a cause. The campaign gathered different celebrities and influencers who donated their white personal belongings for auction at the
www.whiteevent.ph website. All proceeds from this one-of-a-kind fundraiser were donated for the rehabilitation of classrooms in Catmon Integrated School, a public school where over 4,500 children share less than 30 classrooms.
Recently, Zonrox executives turned over the donation worth P150,000 to World Vision executive director Josaias dela Cruz.
“We are very honored to have partnered with a very trusted Filipino brand in bringing comfort and hope to our students. The concept was very beautiful, too. It only shows that celebrities, corporate organizations and the general public can get together and make a difference in the lives of children,” says Dela Cruz.
“The White Event auction gave celebrities and anyone a chance to share their comfort for the benefit of others. This was a unique way of bringing hope and inspiration to the youth of Catmon. Zonrox GentleClean fully supports this partnership with World Vision,” shares Nicole Postrado, Zonrox brand manager.
Celebrities who participated in the online auction include Julie Anne Jose, Miriam Quiambao, Tessie Tomas, Celeste Legaspi, Tessa Prieto-Valdes, Eula Valdez, Ely Buendia, Nikki Gil, Marc Nelson, Tweetie De Leon, Aljur Abrenica, Tippy dos santos, Say Alonzo, Chris Tiu, Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Jing Castaneda, Lynda Jumilla, Cat Arambulo, Kryz Uy, and many others.
