6th National Social Entrepreneurship Conference 2015 set
The 6th National Social Entrepreneurship Conference originally scheduled for Oct.14 -15 that was postponed because of Typhoon Lando has been rescheduled and will now take place on Dec. 14 -15, at the Escaler Hall of the Ateneo de Manila University Loyola Heights campus.
With the theme of Social Enterprise and Policy: Enabling Inclusive Economies, this conference aims to look at how public policy can support social enterprises through the promotion of social entrepreneurship, building of legal, regulatory and fiscal frameworks, provision of sustainable finance and the offer of business development services and support structures.
Esteemed speakers at the conference include Cielito Habito, Eduardo Morato, Lisa Dacanay and Director Jerry Clavecillas of the Department of Trade and Industry. Other speakers are Grace Hoang of Centre for Social Incentives Promotions Vietnam, Marcus Dietrich of Asian Social Enterprise Incubator and Peter Hammerle of Foundation of These Abled Persons Inc.
This conference is organized by the Ateneo Center for Social Entrepreneurship (ACSEnt), The Philippine Social Enterprise Network (PhilSen) and the Foundation for a Sustainable Society Inc. (FSSI) in partnership with the BPI Foundation.
All registered and confirmed participants and those with reserved slots for the original conference dates will be honored.
