NHA technologies for socialized housing at CREBA meet
The National Housing Authority (NHA) is the government’s lead agency in direct shelter production to service the lowest 30 percent of the country’s urban population. In support of the National Housing Program, it also helps local government units in the implementation of housing programs such as in the identification, acquisition and disposition of lands for socialized housing, relocation, resettlement, financing and engaging private sector participation.
The NHA has developed AITECH, a system for accrediting innovative technologies for housing using non-traditional, alternative and/or indigenous materials and systems with the end view of helping reduce over-all housing costs.
