@tes_miralles Santa Paws, Our Hero by Nicholas Edwards Santa Paws has hit it big! Now that it’s Christmastime again, he’s been asked to do appearances at malls, shopping centers, and children’s hospitals all throughout New England. But when disaster strikes, Santa Paws is there to save the day. This book is a simple but fun story of a man’s best friend who rescues those who are in trouble. Dogs are amazing that way. They keep all homes secure and entertained. They are very loving and caring too just like our pet, Kirby. All dogs, no matter what breed or size, are heroes in their own special ways. #MyFaveBookMySelfie2015 @nbsalert @philippinestar
@arjudesbooks Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs Jacob Portman is just an average teenager with a very odd grandpa who likes to show him old photos of children with odd powers — a floating girl, an invisible boy, and much more — which he insists are clearly fake. Or so he thought. When tragedy strikes, Jacob must dig up his grandfather’s mysterious past in order to protect himself from dangers only his grandfather knows about. This mission takes him to a remote island where he finds the ruins of Miss Peregrine’s Home for “Peculiar” Children. As Jacob tries to connect the dots between this abandoned house and his grandfather, his judgement of the mysterious photographs is proven wrong as the truth behind them starts to reveal itself. Author Ransom Riggs does an impeccable job of blending together the gorgeous vintage photos and the story itself into one scaringly good read. Every page and photo has its own mystery that makes the book hard for me to put down. Being a teenage guy myself, I can relate to Jacob’s thoughts and choices, making this novel a favorite of mine. #MyFaveBookMySelfie2015 @nbsalert @philippinestar
