New year photo courses o ered

-

Photography enthusiasts from Jolo to Batanes will flock to Fort Santiago for the new year’s photography courses offered by the Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation (FPPF)

The FPPF is behind the unprecedented growth of photography in the country making the historical landmark the center of photography.

Eduviges Huang, chairperson of the FPPF, said for beginners there is a lesson plan that will enable them to acquire the basic skills to operate a camera and take good photos in 5 days. She said there is an even shorter time to teach corporate employees how to operate the camera and come up with better pictures.

The modules are now packaged for corporations as they now realize the value of good photography in communication.

Participants in basic photo course can choose either weekdays or weekends.

For those starting in photography can take the five-Saturday or five-Sunday basic course. Advanced photo course is next advised for those who want to learn more or may want to become a professional photographer.

The 2nd basic weekday course will be on Feb. 15-19 while the five-Saturday basic course will start on Feb. 13 and the five Sundays on Feb. 21.

For professional photographers the following courses will be conducted: Wedding, Feb. 22-25; Videography, Feb. 14 and21; Photoshop, Feb. 21, 28 and March 6; Lightroom, Feb. 20; Advanced, Jan. 16-17 and 23-24; and Strobist, Feb. 28.
