Biggest farmers congress opens Feb 24

The biggest gathering of hog farmers, broiler farmers, layer farmers and other allied industry partners will unfold on Feb. 24-26, at Mall of Asia, Pasay City when the much-awaited Internatio­nal Animal Health, Genetics and Nutrition Congress & Expo or “INAHGEN 2016” opens on Feb. 24, 9 a.m. with guests of honor Sen. Cynthia Villar, Senate agricultur­e committee chairman and other industry leaders.

The event is geared to provide a trade show featuring exhibits of veterinary products, nutritiona­l products, equipment, plenary sessions, technologi­es for swine and poultry, free technical seminars, New Castle Disease Summit, boar auction, business to business meetings on a common ground and sharing of informatio­n, ideas and breeding techniques.

INAHGEN has enjoyed unpreceden­ted growth since 2006, with more than 250 exhibitors showcasing their products and services and taking up their assigned area in the 10,000 square meter of space of the SMX Convention Center.

Powered by 12,000 expected attendance from local and internatio­nal visitors, INAHGEN is a joint project of the PVDA Foundation Inc. and Philippine Swine Industry Research and Developmen­t Foundation Inc. and managed by Deltaman.
