Jetstar offers low fares to Tokyo, Osaka & Nagoya

-

Jetstar Japan announced at PTAA’s 23rd Travel Tour Expo 2016 that it would bring its low-fare services from Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya to Manila.

From mid-March, the new routes from Narita Airport in Tokyo and Chubu Airport in Nagoya to Manila will offer customers the choice of up to seven direct services a week from March 15 and April 1, respectively.

From April 7, Jetstar Japan will introduce up to four new weekly services from Osaka, complementing the existing four weekly services schedule currently provided by sister airline, Jetstar Asia.

“Since 2004, Jetstar has built our reputation for providing low fares and making travel more affordable. We hold true to that commitment and this is what we are bringing with us with this latest international offering,” said Masaru Kataoka, chairman of Jetstar Japan. “Jetstar has been operating flights from the Philippines since April 2005 and these new services between Japan and Manila will build on Jetstar’s success of these flights.”

From the three major cities of Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya, Filipinos can explore other parts of Japan, connected by Jetstar Japan’s extensive domestic network.

“Currently, more than 224,000 Filipino expatriates reside in Japan. Our research has shown that Filipino holiday-makers or those wanting to visit family members are most excited about these new low fares to Japan,” added Kataoka. “Our services will also support the increasing number of Japanese tourists visiting the Philippines as it is a popular year-round destination with its wide selection of shopping, beaches, leisure activities, as well as its vibrant arts and entertainment scene. Of course, the Japanese are always very impressed by the Filipinos’ warm hospitality.”

The new services will be operated on Jetstar Japan’s 180seat Airbus A320. To kick off the launch of the services, Jetstar Japan has made available 2,000 seats at a special sale fare of P1998.
