Slovenian biz delegates to visit Phl
The Chamber of Commerce of the Philippine Islands (The CHAMBER) will host the visit of a Slovenian business delegation in collaboration with the Department of Foreign Affairs on March 3 at the Chamber office in Magallanes Drive in Intramuros, Manila.
The 14-man delegation will be led by State Secretary Ales Cantarutti of the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology.
Representing the country in the business meeting is Undersecretary Lullah del Rosario of the International Economic Relations of the DFA, with Chamber president Jose Luis Yulo Jr., Chairman Benigno Ricafort and chairman emeritus Ramon Pedrosa.
Yulo said the highlight of the meeting are the business presentations by the Dept. of Trade and Industry on local Business opportunities, the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, Dept. of National Defense and the Environmental Management Bureau.
Assisting the DTI on business opportunities in the country is the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM) which will set up product display during the B2B meetings.
The business sectors of interest to Slovenia include wood processing, electrical and metal industry, defense software on command and control, systems for the protection of population and military forces, energy management solution provider, domestic appliances, waste management, automotive, import and export distribution and tourism sector.
