Market worker slain, stuffed in pushcart

A market worker was stabbed dead in the Riverview Market in Barangay Balingasa, Quezon City before dawn yesterday.

Jolito Porio’s body was found in a wooden pushcart at the market at around 4:30 a.m.

Porio had been stabbed repeatedly, police said, adding that the victim was identified through his Riverview Market identifica­tion card.
