More than the prize and thrills, the powered-up card fighting competition was a fantastic opportunity for Bacchus to underscore the need to have fun time and extra energy in between daily life rigors.
“As the No. 1 energy drink in Korea, Bacchus is very delighted to bring this kind of exciting tournament closer to many young Filipinos,” said Earl Yu from the marketing department of Dong-A Pharma Philippines Inc. (DPPI, exclusive distributor of Bacchus in the country).
As a partner in providing energy not only during times of work but also in moments of play, Bacchus believes and supports the need for work-life integration, whatever your age or lifestyle is.
“The Bacchus 100k GameFest Challenge 2016 offered avid card gamers and spectators alike the fun and positive impacts of having a work-life balance. It’s a unique format for us to show gaming as a fun and effective tool in promoting healthy camaraderie among the youth, as well as for adult enthusiasts who see it as a way of de-stressing or a form of relaxation,” added Oliver Salud, president of Courtside Inc.
Aside from providing prizes, Bacchus also held mini games to keep non- tournament challengers engaged. These include minute-to-win-it games where participants are given a prize whenever they completed a level. Those who have successfully finished all four levels received a “Drive Your Energy” shirt as token.
Participants were also given free Bacchus energy drinks which they thoroughly enjoyed while getting the needed boost to their mental abilities, keeping them focused in the game especially during the critical part of the tournament.
“Bacchus understands the concept of fun of our youth and is here to provide the boost needed to support these activities.,” as mentioned by Amen Say, president of DPPI.
