Discover the #ShangStyleSpectrum Showcase
The heat maybe overwhelming but it will never wilt the vibrancy and spirit of summer. This season, Shang curates beautiful style collections and kicks off its 25th anniversary celebration with an exciting weekend fashion fete, aptly titled, “The Shang Style Spectrum: Summer Silhouettes”
Giving its shoppers their first taste of summer, Shang unveiled its “Summer Silhouettes”, a fashion art event that showcases style statements for summer in a unique art installation.
Renowned stylists Rainier Dagala (Mega and Meg fashion editor) and Em Millan, lent their creative touch and showed off their youthful aesthetic through a well-curated collection. They offered a fresh take on style essentials and reworked favorite classic pieces into contemporary ensembles. From vibrant hues to denim and airy, light-weight chiffon, the fashion exhibit perfectly encapsulated the free spirit and whims of summer.
“We feel that the Shangri-La Plaza audience already has an innate taste level when it comes to fashion and styling, so we wanted to offer them a new perspective. We showed them how to put together different pieces, while highlighting current trends. They’re fashionable, relevant and interesting,” explains Em.
The fashion exhibit will be on display from May 4 to 15 at the East Atrium.
