An Italian resto pub with a Spanish twist

-

At McKinley Hill, a trip to the Venice Grand Canal Mall must include savoring the gastronomic delights courtesy of Toni & Sergio Gastro Italiano. With authentic Italian and classic Spanish dishes, every dining experience at Toni & Sergio Gastro Italiano becomes an everyday celebration among friends and family members.

Established by the enthusiastic and charming Eatalian, Inc. president Giulius Ceazar Iapino, Toni & Sergio Gastro Italiano is backed by the family’s vast experience in the food business in Italy. “My dad, Toni, had a few restaurants and pubs in Italy while Sergio, the younger brother of my dad, is a well- known TV director in Italy, Spain and Argentina. Their preference to Italian and Spanish cuisine is the inspiration behind our latest venture. Thus, we dedicate Toni & Sergio Gastro Italiano to the Iapino brothers who love sharing food with their friends and loved ones,” said Giulius.

Anchored in the success of Parmigiano Ristorante Pizzeria in Newport City, Toni & Sergio Gastro Italiano offers the same quality of food and service in a casual dining venue intended for the young professionals who are out to unwind and relax, and families who like to spend the time chatting and bonding over shared meals.

“We are targeting to expand our market. In Parmigiano, we serve business executives and families from the upscale homes. Here, we aim to please the middle class and their families who deserve good food and drinks while having good times with each other,” explained the young Iapino. “We will be serving quality dishes that are affordable, but without any shortcuts.”

At Toni & Sergio Gastro Italiano, diners can expect authentic Italian and Spanish dishes with imported ingredients, meticulously- prepared, and served with a vast array of drinks meant to be enjoyed in a warm and relaxed ambiance likened to an Italian resto- pub.

“Our menu items are meant to be shared among family and friends,” said operations manager Arnel Due. “We want our customers to experience how the Europeans eat and enjoy their food. They are most welcome to spend hours at Toni & Sergio while enjoying the flavors of cuisines that the Italians and Spanish are famous for.”

Toni & Sergio Gastro Italiano has 70 Italian and Spanish dishes on its menu. For first- time clients, Toni & Sergio Gastro Italiano recommends the brick oven pizza made with hand- tossed dough and pasta dishes with fresh ingredients.

For those who like to hang out, they have an impressive bar chow with a wide selection of Italian wines, liquors, local and imported beers, and signature drinks. “We have Italian sodas and cocktails, created exclusively for us like the Capiso shot, Cedro, Menta, Anguria, Frapole and a lot more,” shared Due.

While the Italian vibe emanates from its interiors, customers can also choose to dine al fresco and enjoy the scenery with gondolas gliding along the Grand Canal and other reconstructed Venetian landmarks.

“We want Toni & Sergio’s to be the place where good friends meet, but more importantly, we would like to hear diners say they will come back, ‘ cause that’s the only time we will feel satisfied,” concluded Iapino.
