Puregold to hold 11th Sari-Sari Store Convention

-

In honor of its “entrePinoys,” Puregold is hosting a grand get-together for the country’s sari-sari store owners with the 11th Tindahan Ni Aling Puring (TNAP) Sari-Sari Store Convention.

The Sari-Sari Store Convention is a fiveday event that aims to recognize the role of neighborhood retail warriors in keeping the “pambansang negosyo” vibrant.

Set from May 18 to 22, this year’s Sari-Sari Store Convention is a “national tribute” for loyal TNAP members who serve as the backbone of the local economy and of Puregold’s business, being one of its primary clientele.

“Our sari-sari store owners exemplify the ideal entrepreneur: hardworking and persevering, pursuing their business for their families and really showing their love for what they do,” said Vincent Co, president of Puregold Price Club Inc.

“At the same time, they serve as their local neighborhood’s store of choice where basic commodities are made affordable through “tingi” (retail) prices. We really cannot underestimate the role that sari-sari stores play in our society,” added Co.

Themed “PINASipag, PINASwerte, PINASenso,” this year’s Sari-Sari Store Convention seeks to strike the patriotic chord in more than 70,000 TNAP members at a time when the nation is on the brink of change.

“We have been doing this for a decade now and we wanted to mark the start of another 10 years with a celebration worthy of the people we are honoring. At the same time, we want to unify our TNAP members behind one common goal: that with hard work, success is always within reach,” said Co.

“We also want to encourage future members and future generations to join our cause of providing business opportunities to Filipino families,” he said.

The Sari- Sari Store Convention promises to transform the World Trade Center in Pasay City into an extensive market venue, dotted by top brands’ showcases, product sampling stalls and interactive booths to TNAP members.

Some of the country’s top entertainers will grace the event, as well as chief business and entrepreneurship gurus to delight participants.

The event is open to all TNAP members from across the country. Their TNAP card will serve as their gate pass for the event. TNAP is Puregold’s flagship loyalty program, providing exclusive benefits to its more than 300,000 members with every purchase in the chain’s 260 branches nationwide.
