Moreen Austria and Peter Fantinalgo at CCP
Moreen Austria and Peter James Fantinalgo probe into the umbilical connection between the neighboring islands of Negros and Panay in the Visayas region in “Lawig,” which opens on May 19 at the Bulwagang Fernando Amorsolo (Small Gallery) of the Cultural Center of the Philippines ( CCP), Roxas Blvd., Pasay City. The show runs until July 3.
It will open with an Artist Talk by Austria and Fantinalgo, which will be followed by the lecture “Negros and Panay: The Tie that Binds” by historian Ma. Cecilia LocsinNava at 4 p.m.
The venue grant exhibition, curated by Noel El Farrol, is presented by the CCP with support from Orange Gallery. “
