Matt Mason Art Gallery opens in Silang, Cavite

Matt Mason Art Gallery, an art gallery that caters to art enthusiasts in Cavite, marked its soft opening with a group show titled “Audacity,” which is on view until June 30 at Km. 64 Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay Rd., Pasong Langka, Silang, Cavite.

Participating artists include Lerma Julian, Lito Mondejar, Nikulas Lebajo, Owie Chong, Jeanette Bilan, Kat Gosiengfiao, Benny Filomeno and Dan Libor.

The show features a diverse set of individuals, artistic styles and techniques — from abstract paintings to still-life portraits and fiber glass sculptures.

“We want to this gallery to enrich the local art culture of the community and to do that, we’d have to start samll and allow it to grow organically,” says gallery owner Mike Yu, a furniture designer who hails from a family of artist.
