Montessori De San Juan, CAA partners in learning

-

Montessori De San Juan, a non-traditional school emphasizing progressive, experience based, and student-centered education, recently established a partnership with the Career Academy Asia (CAA).

This collaboration was formalized through a classroom tour held at the CAA facility in Rockwell Center, Makati City attended by parents, teachers and students from the San Juan-based school.

“Our learning institution has always been, and will always be, about instilling a lifelong love for learning among our students,” Montessori De San Juan assistant principal Sandy Arellano said.

“We understand that the time our students spend with us is limited, therefore we endeavor to build a strong and lasting foundation for them. We believe that this partnership with CCA is a wonderful building block towards that goal,” she added.

CAA is an alternative learning institution designed to assist incoming senior high school students by providing them with modules that can help them earn a diploma in multimedia, graphic design, fashion design and merchandising, hospitality and tourism management and events management.

These diplomas can then be turned into bachelor’s degrees if the student decides to pursue the career track by enrolling in one of the CAA partner universities around the world. This gives them the opportunity to earn their degree in one to two years, rather than the full four-year college course.

Under the agreement, students from Montessori De San Juan can make the process even more convenient by allowing them remote access to the course modules. “Once a student completes the course, they will then receive their High School diploma along with a certification that they have completed the required modules,” Arellano indicated. “The student now has two options: continue their tertiary education at a university of their choose, and follow the traditional four-year course, or they may opt to continue their CAA chosen track and continue their studies at a CAA partner school for one to two years more.”

The Montessori De San JuanCAA partnership is the latest development in the school’s continued commitment to provide its students with the best possible learning options.
