Healthway partners with Lifeline

-

Healthway Medical, the most trusted and preferred mall-based clinics in the Philippines, recently entered into a strategic partnership with Lifeline Ambulance, Inc. at the Lifeline office in Sucat Parañaque City to expand its holistic health services outside the malls.

Lifeline Ambulance is a leading provider of professional ambulance service, which is dedicated to raising the quality of pre-medical care in the country.

With Healthway’s strategic venture with Lifeline, pre-medical care for Filipinos will be further enhanced, according to Michael Deakin, managing director of Lifeline.

“The main goal of the partnership is to give a holistic approach to handling patients,” Deakin said. “There are about 57 accidents an hour in the Philippines. Accident happens in a split second that’s why we’re extending our help outside the clinics. We’re protecting patients outside — from their homes to their work, up until we are able to bring them to the clinics.”

Deakin explains that the ambulatory service provider has been prioritizing immediate care since “waiting is, and never will be, an option.”

“Our operation is 24 hours so, you can just dial up 16-911 and we’ll bring the best doctors and nurses to you right away,” Deakin said. “Let’s get back to basics. Let’s bring back the doctoral call services, the diagnostics on call and that’s why we have to tie-up with Healthway. With their excellent doctors, nurses, labs and equipment, we can save lives not just in hospitals but in homes and offices, too.”

Carmie de Leon, vice president for sales and marketing of Healthway Medical, said, “Lifeline has proven its good reputation through the years, which complements the thrusts set forth by the company. With the aid of Lifeline, Healthway’s core competency — out-patient mall- based clinics — can be complemented with emergency care. We could respond to our patients’ medical needs immediately, without compromising the quality service that we could provide.”
