Nissan “sportifies” Navara with new Sport Edition

Nissan Philippines Inc. ( NPI) raises the bar for custom pickup trucks with its introduction of the new Navara Sport Edition. Unveiled last week at Nissan’s North EDSA showroom, the new Navara Sport Edition is the latest model to join the Nissan truck lineup, upgrading the trademark features of the 2015 Truck of the Year.

Building on the Navara’s already tough- looking styling, the Sport Edition features upgraded design elements that create an even tougher and sportier look.

The Navara Sport Edition’s unique honeycomb front grille combines with a new front skirt and fog lamps wrapped in a new dark chrome finish to give the vehicle an even bolder front end.

The Sport Edition’s side step and rear bumper are also finished with a new dark chrome, while a durable under-rail bedliner and new sport roll bar with LED lamp emphasize the vehicle’s sportiness. Rounding up the Navara Sport Edition’s tough, sporty appearance are new 18-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the Navara Sport Edition showcases a new, premium leatherwrapped steering wheel, as well as shift knob, armrest and door trims. Comfort is further enhanced by Nissan’s renowned air-conditioning system with rear vents, premium sound system and ergonomically designed seats.

Taking its cue from the standard Navara, the Sport Edition still carries Nissan’s Zero-Gravity front seats, which offer superior spinal support that greatly helps reduce fatigue during long drives.

The Nissan Navara Sport Edition also features the first- in- class multilink four- wheel coil spring suspension system that delivers car-like riding and driving comfort. It’s powered by a DOHC inline-4, 16- valve engine with Variable Turbocharger (VGS) and Intercooler.

The New Nissan Navara Sport Edition is available in Riptide Blue and Aspen White and in the following variants in all Nissan Dealerships nationwide: 2.5L 4x4 VL 7AT priced at P1,656,000 and 2.5L 4x2 EL 7AT Calibre at P1,275,000.
