Urbandub’s Endless revisited at Music Museum on May 27

-

It has been exactly one year since the original line-up of Urbandub performed onstage together in one of the most successful rock concerts of that year. Ironically, it also marked an end to one of OPM’s most iconic rock acts. The farewell concert of Urbandub titled Endless held on May 9, 2015 was attended by thousands of the band’s fans also called “dubistas.”

Since then, band members Gabby Alipe and John Dinopol have been busy doing their own individual projects. Gabby has been running his own production team called Nemesis Productions, managing fresh and upcoming bands in the indie scene, while also overseeing the production of his after-tattoo-care product called Dark Matter Artisan Soap. Meanwhile, John is busy with his new band Cables and Space which he is fronting, while also managing his own clothing brand called Pinnacle Clothing Shop.

Earlier this year, MCA Music released Urbandub’s DVD titled Endless featuring the band’s final concert at the Metro Tent with the same title. The DVD also documents the history of the band that originated in Cebu. The DVD can be considered as the best memento for fans because of the exclusive content and topnotch production.

A year after Endless, Gabby and John are back to give the “dubistas” what they have been clamoring for with Urbandub Endless Revisited, an intimate concert featuring acoustic versions of Urbandub songs on May 27, 8 p.m., at the Music Museum. Endless Revisited will also showcase the emerging bands in the indie scene, Autotelic and Sirens. Get a ticket by calling Ticketworld at 891-9999 or Music Museum at 721-6726. Urbandub’s Endless DVD under MCA Music will also be available at the venue.
