Nolcom gets new trucks, ambulances

CLARK FREEPORT, Pampanga – The Northern Luzon Command (Nolcom) has received 36 troop carriers and four field ambulances as part of the modernizat­ion program of the military.

The turnover ceremony was held at the headquarte­rs of the 7th Infantry Division at Fort Magsaysay in Nueva Ecija on Thursday.

“Our soldiers should be modern and open to change in terms of being updated and trained in the use of modern equipment,” Maj. Gen. Angelito de Leon, Nolcom chief, said.

De Leon said the Navy recently acquired a strategic vessel while the Air Force got two fighter jets.
