“We all know how she changed the game, from being just a sport of the UAAP to the main attraction of the league. She was able to lift the game higher and opened a lot of opportunities for other aspiring athletes. Thank you for being an inspiration to the youth.”

KIEFER RAVENA

Back-to-back UAAP Basketball MVP, Ateneo Blue Eagles

“When I was in high school, watching Ate Ly play was inspiring in so many levels. I even got the chance to play against her a couple of times. But having the chance to play with her for three years in the UAAP? It’s really something. Her leadership inside and outside the court is something we all admire. You can really see that even though she’s at the top level of Philippine volleyball, she makes it a point to improve herself every time she steps in training, and she guides her team to improve as a whole as well. I’ve learned so much from her, really. I’m really thankful that I got the chance to play with her for her last three UAAP years.”

JIA MORADO

Setter, Ateneo Lady Eagles

“Hi Ly, first of all I wanna say thank you so much for giving so much light not only to Philippine volleyball but also to sports in general. I’m really really happy for you for achieving so much and for being able to live your dreams one by one. You deserve all the love and support from all the fans. At the end of the day, without all the spotlight and attention, remember that there’s someone here who’s always ready to support you in everything... me. Good luck with everything besh! Love you long time.”
